New camera and back to school

Well as most people know tomorrow is back to school. Bummer.
But I'm not all that bothered by it. My courses are pretty fun. ;P
But besides that, I got a camera! I picked myself up a Nikon D3000 kit on sale. Pretty good camera. :D
I'm going to try learning most of it's features and just general photography over the next little while, so stay tuned.
That's about it though.
As for people to check out, pretty much everyone on my watch list is awesome so just take a look at them.

Well this is my first journal entry. Not really much to say. I guess I'll start off by saying I've made some cool new friends here on DA and I'm looking forward to becoming more active!
I think I actually might decide to save up some cash and pick myself up a camera. If anyone has any suggestions on what's a good camera for about $300-$500 let me know. :)
Since I don't have premium I'll just link some cool people everyone should check out!
